Job Title: Special Education Teacher Profession: SPED Specialty: Cognitive Impairment Duration: 42 Shift: 08:30:00 - 15:10:00 Hours per Shift: 6.67 Experience: Previous experience working with students with severe impairments highly preferred License: Valid Special Education license with Cognitive Impairment endorsement Certifications: None required Must-Have: Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Description: Cognitive Impairment Special Education Teacher needed for an elementary caseload of grades 2-4. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IEPs aligned with student goals. Provide differentiated instruction based on individual learning needs. Collect and document progress monitoring data. Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families. Maintain compliance with special education requirements. Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
